Congratulations to four area seniors for being selected as recipients of the Wiles Eye Center Scholarship Program.
Alicia Garcia, Jacob Boeding, Madison Michalski and Aslyn Damerval were selected as the 2014 Wiles Eye Center Scholarship recipients.
Dr. Stephen Wiles and the staff at Wiles Eye Center understand the importance of supporting education. “These two young adults have their entire future before them. It’s an exciting time of their lives and we hope that they will be successful in their endeavors,” Dr. Wiles commented. “All of the students that applied for the scholarships demonstrated ambition and desire to be successful. It was a tough decision, but Alicia’s and Jacob’s essays were outstanding.”
This is the first year that Wiles Eye Center offered the Wiles Eye Center Scholarship Program to area senior students.
All applicants submitted an application and answered an essay question. More than 150 applications were received.
